Use this codeplug as a ‘good start’ for getting your radio up and running quickly, then take a look at the layout and customize as you see fit. Make sure you put your callsign and DMR ID into the codeplug before downloading it to the radio. It contains the DMR repeaters in the Oklahoma area, as of the Brandmeister conversion. This is a pretty technical piece of software and requires some effort to set up, but it may help you set up multiple radio types. This software is supposed to currently work with Connect Systems, Hytera, and Tytera radios. CPSProgrammerĭL5MCC has a piece of software called CPSProgrammer that allows a person to edit codeplugs for DMR radios. You can also download bulk records from DMR-MARC databases. This program will enable you to list and load contacts from Tytera, Any Tone, and CSI 700/701 radios.

Tom Wheeler N0GSG has built a contact manager program that allows a person to edit codeplugs for DMR radios. Click this link for the Aliunce/Retevis programming page. Aliunce HD1 and Simliarįor those of you that have an Aliunce HD1 radio, Retevis radio, or something similar, there’s one site for you on the web. Leixen has some specific software to program their VV 898 radios, and it’s available to create and download their radios. A great installation document is found on this website. This is the “NEW” software, as of September 2021. This beta software and more information are available on his website. Roger Clark has created a community or an open-source version of the code plug software for the GD-77.

You’ll need to update the callsign and User ID with your information before downloading it to your radio. Remember that codeplugs from someone else are an excellent place to start. To download this file, you may need to right-click on the link and select “Save Link/Target As.” You’ll need to rename this file to SCARSGD-77311.dat.

Gd 77 dmr programming upgrade#
You can either copy your codeplug to the radio after the upgrade or grab our W5NOR Oklahoma Codeplug for the GD-77 Version 3.1.1 and after. You can download the new firmware using the program update.exe. Power on the radio while holding the bottom two buttons on the radio’s left side to put the radio in firmware download mode. Version 4.3.6 is available to download from the Radioddity website. Radioddity has a new version of software and firmware for its GD-77. These radios will receive either analog FM or DMR signals. However, there are a couple of repeaters on the VHF band. Here is the most recent Tytera v1.37 software used to program the MD-390 and MD-380 radios. This software is free and available from Jerry and the people at Connect Systems. That page lists the radios supported with the current build. It supports many manufacturers and models and provides a way to interface with multiple data sources and formats. This software is a free and open-source tool for programming your amateur radio. Listed below are these programs, with links to that software. Each codeplug title starts with the name of the program that is used to download that plug.
